About Sara Wilken (she/her)
I am a social worker and psychotherapist with a focus on children, adults and the process of entering parenthood. As a mother myself, I am interested in the struggles and transformation that happens not just in childhood and adolescence, but also in the process of becoming a parent.
I have a gentle and inquisitive personality and I aim to build a trusting therapeutic relationship so that you may feel understood and feel safe in our work together.
Therapeutic Approach
My therapeutic approach is rooted in the principles of self-psychology and intersubjectivity, emphasizing the importance of empathy, attunement, and relational dynamics in the healing process. I believe in the innate capacity for growth and resilience within each individual and I strive to support my clients in accessing their inner resources and cultivating meaningful connections with others.
